We don't want to ruin anyone's fun - But safety comes first!

We understand that electric scooters can seem like a fun way for young people to get around and this isn't about stopping children from enjoying themselves

However, what we are seeing isn't harmless fun

We're receiving reports of riders weaving in and out of traffic, riding on busy roads and putting themselves and others at risk. This type of behaviour is dangerous and could have devastating consequences

Electric scooters are not toys, and when used in this way, they become a real safety concern for the whole community

We ask parents and guardians to be aware of how these are being used, and for the public to continue reporting concerns :)
